BAKER COUNTY – (Information from Baker County Sheriff’s Office) Are you interested in making a difference in your community? Do you LOVE spending time outdoors? Consider applying for the Baker County Search and Rescue Team (SAR)!
Baker County SAR is comprised of volunteers with diverse abilities and skills. The one thing they all have in common…a big heart! SAR volunteers respond to a variety of situations and are trained in a number of disciplines: technical rope rescue, certified dive rescue, canine handler, and ATV/UTV operation.

*Applications will be accepted through November 30th followed by interviews. Newly selected volunteers will attend a Search and Rescue Academy in 2023.
