WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla County Department of Community Health is offering doses of the single-shot Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine at a clinic at the Walla Walla County Fairgrounds today (Wednesday) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. A total of 100 doses of the vaccine, which was recently reinstated for use, will be given.
It is not necessary for people to schedule appointments to receive the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, but they may be scheduled at https://www.covidwwc.com/clinics. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is only being given to those 18 and older. It is being offered at the same time a second-dose clinic for the Pfizer vaccine is being held. Appointments are required for those doses.
In addition, appointments for next week’s Pfizer vaccination clinics on May 4 and 5 are available at the above website for all people 16 and older.
People without access to a computer or the internet call the DCH help line at 509-524-2647 and leave a message with their name, date of birth, phone number and a statement that they don’t have computer or internet access.
