John Day residents to have more bill paying options

JOHN DAY – John Day City Manager Melissa Bethel was in EMG Studios recently, and mentioned a few updates to their software system should give John Day residents more options, and also make bill paying a little easier for folks:
“Some pretty cool updates to our software system…will allow us to do some good stuff for the citizens, too. We’re hoping to be able to go paperless— which will cut down on our billing, have people be able to use their credit cards, have autopay, which right now we don’t have.”
Bethel mentioned that the City of John Day will have a booth at the Grant County Fair, and folks will be able to stop in and check out the new software in action, which will include the ability to view what their bill looks like, the rates, their usage, and more.
