John Day receives 1.11 inches of rain in 4 days

JOHN DAY – The totals are in from the National Weather Service, and according to the agency, John Day received 1.11 inches of rain during the 4-day atmospheric river event.
Rain will continue today (Wednesday), although amounts are expected to be less than a tenth of an inch in the John Day Basin and Ochoco-John Day Highlands. Tonight, expect snow above 4,500 feet. Follow weather updates at weather.gov/pdt.
