John Day Police Town Hall is tonight

JOHN DAY – The John Day Town Hall meeting regarding the local option levy for the John Day Police Department will be this evening, July 27th, at the Grant County Fairgrounds. Jack Southworth will be facilitating; and priority will be given to written questions regarding the levy, according to Mayor Ron Lundbom:
“The 27th—show up at the pavilion. I think this time it’ll be run just a little bit better, and I think we’re going to try to take some written questions and try to you know, have more ANSWERS. Maybe focus a lot more on our residents and not just than anybody that wants to stand up and feels comfortable talking in front of people.”
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Trowbridge Pavilion. Submission forms for written questions will be available. Find more at cityofjohnday.com.
