John Day man arrested on multiple child sex crimes

JOHN DAY – A John Day man was arrested on multiple child sex crimes Monday, according to a release from Grant County Sheriff Todd McKinley. Christopher Lee Gibson, 45, was arrested on charges including encouraging sex abuse, online corruption of a child, and sodomy in the 3rd degree. The release states that, “…allegations include that Gibson engaged in sexual conduct with a minor, filmed and photographed said conduct, and disseminated those photos and recordings.”
