John Day man arrested on assault charge

JOHN DAY – A man was arrested in John Day yesterday for assault, according to information from Grant County Emergency Communications. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office as well as Oregon State Police responded to a location at 660 W Main in John Day on Monday at approximately 6:11 p.m. As a result, Robert Warrington Jr., 40, of John Day was arrested on an assault charge.
The circumstances surrounding the charge were not released.
