John Day has an opening on City Council

JOHN DAY – John Day Mayor Heather Rookstool was in KJDY and News 102’s newsroom last week explaining to listeners that there is a vacancy on the John Day City Council:
“Elliot Sky resigned as of the 6th… He turned it in the 1st, but it was effective the 6thwhen we had our first meeting. He is moving out of the country, so he is officially done with City Council. We have opened that vacancy up. We’re accepting applications through July 15th.”
Folks can pick up and return applications to the John Day City Hall.
