John Day Elks serving free Thanksgiving dinner

JOHN DAY – The John Day Elks Lodge are continuing their tradition this year by putting on the annual Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day. Exalted Ruler Dennis Flippence invites anyone and everyone:
“Anyone can come and eat Thanksgiving Dinner at the Lodge, or they can pick it up and bring it home if they want to do that.
It is free to the community and we hope to see you. Bring your families in and have dinner with us.”
Dinner will be served between 1 and 4 p.m. Delivery is available for the disabled or homebound. Folks wanting deliveries are asked to call ahead to (541) 575-1824 in the days before Thanksgiving.
