John Day City Manager announces resignation

JOHN DAY- The John Day City Council met last night, and part of that meeting included the State of the City Address from City Manager Nick Green. In the address, Green stated that this will be his last year as City Manager:
“Earlier today I gave Mayor Lundbom and the administrative committee, the city council, my resignation. This will be my last year as John Day’s city manager. My wife and I have made the choice to move on and pursue other opportunities. That was not the council’s decision, it was mine and our family’s. We made for our own quality of life. We’re making the conscious choice to trade fatigue for family time.”
