JDPD arrest two on separate assault charges

JOHN DAY – On October 5th at approximately 8:41 a.m., John Day Ambulance responded to 528 E Main in John Day, which is the address for the health department and CCS, for a 57 year-old male with lacerations to his fingers.

On the same call, Oregon State Police, BLM, Grant County Sheriff’s Office and John Day Police Department responded for the report of domestic violence. Glenn Duane Ross, 57, of Prairie City was arrested for Assault and Domestic Violence. Nothing further was released regarding the incident.

On October 5th, around 9:56 a.m., the John Day Police Department responded to a location on 1st and Canton in John Day for the report of an assault. Oregon State Police also responded. Lori A Moodie-Cotta, 19 of John Day was arrested for Assault. Nothing further was released from Grant County Emergency Communications.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office arrested an individual Tuesday morning, October 5th, around 9:32 a.m. on multiple warrants. Christopher Ryan Hoppe, 38, of John Day was arrested on active Grant County and Crook County warrants. No further information was released.

The John Day Police Department responded to a location on W Main St. in John Day, Monday afternoon, October 4th, to the report of a dispute. Dakota Stout, 24, of John Day was arrested for Burglary. Nothing further was released from Grant County Emergency Communications.
