JDFD brings grass fire under control

JOHN DAY – The John Day Fire Department responded to a grass fire near Dugout Lane and Dog Creek Road, out of John Day, Sunday evening. According to Grant County Emergency Communications, the call came in around 5:01 p.m. of a grass fire. Firefighters were quickly on scene, and wildcad.net reports the blaze was controlled. A size nor a cause of the blaze was listed.
