Jay Hummel is Grant Union Jr./Sr. High School’s new Principal

JOHN DAY – Grant School District No. 3 has hired a new Principal for Grant Union JR/SR High School. According to a release from the district, Mr. Jay Hummel will step into the role on Monday, October 2^nd. Find the full press release below:

We are excited to welcome aboard Mr. Jay Hummel who will begin serving Grant Union JR/SR High School October 2nd, 2023.

Mr. Hummel comes to us with a background in education that spans many years. He is looking forward to bringing his experience and dedication to education, serving Grant School District No. 3 for, at least one year, as our interim JR/SR High School Principal.

Mr. Witty, Superintendent for Grant School District No. 3 says: “I am very pleased Mr. Hummel is joining our team at Grant School District No. 3. He brings with him a strong record of collaborative leadership with all stake holders, while focusing on the success of each and every student!”
