Jared Wood transitions from Officer to Narcotics Detective with BCPD

BAKER CITY – Jared Wood, a 10-year veteran of the Baker City Police Department (BCPD), began transitioning from patrol officer to his new assignment this past week as the Baker City Police Departments Narcotics Detective, replacing Detective Chris Sells who left the department in April.

According to BCPD, “as a member of the Investigation’s Unit, Detective Wood will also serve as a member of the Major Crimes Team.”
