Jackson Browne concert announced

WALLA WALLA — Another concert has been added to this summer’s schedule at Wine Country Amphitheater at the Veterans Memorial Golf Course in Walla Walla. Jackson Browne will take the stage on September 20. Tickets go on sale Friday.

The summer concert is presented by W3 Entertainment, Knitting Factory, and CMoore Concerts. Earlier the promoters announced that ZZ Top (June 8), Aaron Lewis and the Stateliners (June 10), Bonnie Raitt with special guest Mavis Staples (Aug. 17) and Maren Morris (Aug. 23) will appear at the amphitheater. Those tickets are already on sale.

The concert by Jackson Browne is one stop on his “Evening With” full band 2022 tour to celebrate the release of his Grammy-nominated album, “Downhill From Everywhere.”

Tickets for the concerts are available at https://www.ticketweb.com/ or at Hot Poop Record Store on East Main Street in Walla Walla for $85. The amphitheater is a few walking blocks from downtown Walla Walla. Local food trucks and wine offerings will be available. All the tickets are general admission, lawn seating. Concert goers are welcome to bring blankets and low-profile, beach-style chairs.
