BAKER COUNTY – The week of May 1-7, 2022, is designated at National Correctional Officers Week. This week was created in 1984 when President Ronald Reagan signed Proclamation 5187. The first full week in May is set aside to recognize the accomplishments and contributions of correctional officers and staff throughout the country.
During this week the Baker County Sheriff’s Office wants all to know how much they are honors to work with the Lieutenant, Corporals and Deputies in their Corrections Division. They are responsible for the safety and security of our facility as well as the adults in custody.
