It’s almost time to splash

MILTON-FREEWATER – The grand opening of the splash pad in Freewater Park in Milton-Freewater is tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon at 2 p.m. The city promises a summer of fun with the new feature.

The splash pad was driven into reality by Milton-Freewater Rotary. That civic organization said its members, numerous other community members, and businesses made it all possible.

The organization issued thanks to the Milton-Freewater Area Foundation, the Ford Family Foundation, Eurus, Wildhorse Resort & Casino, the city of Milton-Freewater, Don Jackson Excavating, and the family of Thelma Garton.

Also on the list are Monahan, Grove & Tucker; Munselle Rhodes Funeral Home; Walla Walla Electric; Carter Plumbing; Earl Brown & Sons; Central Washington Asphalt; Gordon’s Electric; Rep.
