BAKER COUNTY — A semi-truck driver out of Morrow County faces charges after it was revealed he failed to report as a sex offender after being pulled over.
45-year-old Andrew Michael Bennett was pulled over by Oregon State Police on March 2 near the Baker Valley rest Stop for a commercial motor vehicle violation.
When he provided his driver’s license, the state database showed he had been out of compliance for failure to register as a sex offender since 2022.
The Oregon Sex Offender registry shows Bennett has to file as a sex offender for a previous conviction of public indecency.
OSP arrested Bennett, charged with Failure to Report, then was booked and released from the Baker County Jail.
