WALLA WALLA — Washington Gov. Jay Inslee will travel to Walla Walla on Wednesday, Oct. 6.
His first stop will be Walla Walla Community College at 11:15 a.m. to discuss with students and staff from the Energy Systems Technology program and the Enology/Viticulture program to recognize the college, industry leaders and students for their efforts in advancing the Careen Connect concept.
Then the governor will tour the Walla Walla Sleep Center at 1:30 p.m. to learn about the current response to homelessness in Walla Walla and express appreciation to the city of Walla Walla and Walla Walla Alliance for the Homeless.
Inslee will end the day touring Les Collines Vineyard at 2:45 p.m. to discuss the impacts of climate change on wine production across the state.
