Inmate who Died in Baker County Jail Identified as Portland Man

BAKER CITY — The inmate who died at the Baker County Jail has been identified as a Portland man. 57-year-old Rodney Allen Dent was found unresponsive in his cell on Saturday, August 19th. Corrections deputies immediately began life-saving measures. Dent was later declared deceased by paramedics and the Baker County Medical Examiner.
]Baker County District Attorney Greg Baxter says it appears Dent died of natural causes
He had been arrested on an out-of-county warrant.
