WALLULA – The Washington State Patrol said distracted driving caused a single-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 730 Monday night. The accident happened at 9:34 p.m. about two and a half miles east of the Oregon/Washington state line.
Troopers said the driver, Damion Isom, 20, of Hermiston was injured and transported to Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla. He was traveling eastbound, lost control of the vehicle, struck the rock wall and rolled.
Drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the accident, according to the Washington State Patrol.
