Information sought on vehicle vs. bicyclist accident in Ontario

ONTARIO — Police in Ontario are seeking information regarding a vehicle versus bicyclist accident that occurred on Saturday. The bicycle rider was reportedly hit, but then rode off. Find the department’s press release below:

On Saturday, January 3, 2026 at approximately 8:15 pm, a bicyclist crossed I-84 in the area between the Welcome Center and MP 376B Exit and was hit by a vehicle. The vehicle operator notified police, but due to the bicyclist getting back up on the bicycle and riding off, we are unable to finish our investigation. If anyone has information on the rider or any dash cam footage of the incident, please contact our Dispatch center at 541-473-5125. Thank you. (#26P00050)
