Information sought on prowlers in John Day

JOHN DAY – Grant County Sheriff Todd McKinley sent a couple of photos and an official release regarding recent car prowls in John Day. Find the information below:

“During the early hours of January 7th near 2:30 am, individuals were caught on camera attempting to enter multiple different vehicles and buildings in the North West Fourth and North West Brent areas of John Day.

Anyone who lives in those areas is asked to check their vehicles and property for missing items or damage.

One of the individuals was wearing black pants with white shoes, a purple hoodie with a white logo across the chest, and a light grey colored jacket.
