HINES – (Press Release from the Malheur National Forest)
Effective immediately, Monday, July 27, 2026, the South Zone (Emigrant Creek Ranger District) of the Malheur National Forest will implement Industrial Fire Precaution Level (IFPL) IV. This change is due to increasing temperatures, drier fuels and increased fire danger.
Under Industrial Fire Precaution Level (IFPL) IV: general shutdown, all operations are prohibited.
