JOHN DAY – The Grant County Emergency Communications agency will be discussing a new communications facility at their next meeting. Currently, local emergency dispatch is housed at the John Day Fire Hall facility. Find a release from the IGC below:

The Grant County Emergency Communication Agency Intergovernmental Council (IGC) will hold a public meeting on Thursday April, 6th, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the John Day Fire Hall, 316 S Canyon Blvd, John Day OR. This meeting is open to the public.
IGC members will discuss items regarding the Grant County Emergency Communications Agency, including but not limited to election of new secretary, Harney County dispatch services, new communications facility.
