Identity theft lands man in Grant County Jail

GRANT COUNTY – A man will spend time in jail on identity theft and other charges, according to the latest Grant County Circuit Court documents. On Monday, February 5th, Lucas Don Palmer, 31, pleaded guilty to Identity Theft, a Class C felony, as well as two counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card; committed in September of 2023.

Palmer was sentenced to a total of 20 days in jail and placed on Supervised Probation for 18 months. Three other counts were disposed with no conviction.
