BAKER COUNTY – Oregon State Police in Baker County responded to reports of a silver Dodge Pickup driving “all over the road” along I-84 east of Baker City recently that resulted in the arrest by citation of a Nampa, Idaho man. According to OSP the operator of the vehicle, 54-year-old John Andrew Middleton who subsequently refused a Field Sobriety Test.
Middleton was arrested and transported to the Baker County Jail where he refused a breath test. A search warrant was obtained, and blood was drawn.
The vehicle was towed and Middleton was dropped off at a local motel and cited for DUII-Alcohol and Controlled Substance, Reckless Driving, and Refusing a Breath Test.
