I-84 westbound shut down due to crash near La Grande

UPDATE – 1:40pm: The freeway has reopened. Be cautious if you’re traveling westbound toward La Grande as crews remain on scene of the crash at milepost 268, 7 miles east of La Grande.
UNION COUNTY – I-84 is closed westbound between Exit 302 (Baker City) and Exit 265 (4 miles east of La Grande) due to a crash near milepost 268, 7 miles east of La Grande. OR 205 is also closed to non-local traffic as it is not a viable detour route for I-84.
Westbound lanes from Ontario to La Grande are shut down for trucks.
Crews are onsite and tows are in route. Closure is expected to last several hours to allow crews to clean up the site. Continue checking Tripcheck.com for current road conditions.
