I-84 ramp paving may mean closures and delays for drivers

UMATILLA COUNTY – Paving work on Interstate 84 will cause some closures and delays this week and may require alternate routes for some drivers.

On Wednesday Oregon Department of Transportation crews will work on paving the on/off ramps for the westbound lanes at the Interstate 84/Interstate 82 interchange, on Thursday their work will move to the eastbound lanes of the interchange.

On Friday and possibly Monday crews will pave near the rest areas by Stanfield and west of Boardman.

Work will take place between approximately 6 a.m. and 4 p.m.
