I-84 westbound is now open between Exit 265 (4 miles east of La Grande) and Exit 224 (east of Pendleton). OR 204 westbound is also open. Be prepared for winter conditions. Carry emergency supplies.

Previous (From ODOT) ODOT: East. Ore.: I-84 westbound is closed between Exit 265 (4 miles east of La Grande) and Exit 224 (east of Pendleton) due to a crash at milepost 256. OR 204 westbound is closed to commercial motor vehicles, with access to local freight and passenger vehicles only. Avoid travel if possible. If you do travel, be prepared for delays and winter weather, and stay on main highways. Avoid following GPS navigation devices, as they could lead you onto routes that are in worse condition or not maintained during winter. Expect extended delays.
