I-84 CLOSURE

Update as of 12:28pm: ODOT reports that I-84 is open both eastbound and westbound between Pendleton and La Grande.

Update as of 12:20pm- ODOT shows that I-84 eastbound at Pendleton is now open. ORE204 Tollgate is open in both directions.

I-84 westbound at Ontario, Baker City and La Grande still show a closure, however, cameras show that traffic is starting to move.

Update as of 9:10am

I-84 westbound is closed from Ontario to Baker City to truck traffic. I-84 is closed westbound from Baker City to La Grande due to extreme wind. I-84 is closed both eastbound and westbound between La Grande and Pendleton due to high winds.

ORE204 Tollgate is closed both directions.

ORE245,  1 mile North of Intersection with John Day Highway US-26, Local traffic only on OR-245, no access to I-84.

Update from ODOT as of 7:30am: I-84 is closed in both directions between Exit 265 (4 miles east of La Grande) and Exit 216 (7 miles east of Pendleton) due to high winds and a crash at milepost 221 westbound. OR 204 is closed in both directions to commercial motor vehicles, with access to local freight and passenger vehicles only. Expect extended delays. Postpone travel until conditions improve.

ODOT is reporting that eastbound and westbound is now closed between La Grande and Pendleton.

ORE204 Tollgate is closed both directions.

(As of 6:35am) According to ODOT, I-84 is closed westbound due to high winds and a crash. from La Grande to Pendleton. At this time eastbound remains open.

Additionally all eastbound and westbound lanes of ORE204 (Tollgate) are closed,
