I-84 CLOSURE

Road update as of 10:53am- ODOT is reporting I-84 between La Grande and Pendleton has fully reopened.

ROAD UPDATE as of 10:15am- ODOT is showing that I-84 eastbound from Pendleton to La Grande is now open. At this time westbound is still reported as closed. ORE204 Tollgate is also reported as closed.

Update from ODOT as of 7:28am: ODOT: East. Ore.: I-84 is closed in both directions between Exit 216 (7 miles east of Pendleton) and Exit 265 (4 miles east of La Grande). Eastbound is closed due to multiple spun-out vehicles. Closure westbound is due to a crash and sheared light pole at milepost 222. Crews are onsite and working to clear the highways. Avoid travel in this area this morning if possible. If you do travel, be prepared for delays and winter weather, and stay on main highways. Closure is expected to last several hours.

Update as of 7:00am- Both eastbound and westbound lanes between La Grande and Pendleton are closed. ORE204 Tollgate is closed both directions. local freight and passenger vehicles only. No I-84 access for commercial motor vehicles.

PENDLETON-I-84 is closed eastbound at milepost 216, 7 miles east of Pendleton to La Grande due to multiple crashes. ORE204 Tollgate is also closed eastbound, local freight and passenger vehicles only. No I-84 access for commercial motor vehicles.
