I-84 Closed west of Arlington due to brush fire

ARLINGTON — UPDATE 11:15 A.M. (From the Gilliam County Sheriff’s Office) “Multiple fire agencies are on scene and are in mop up for this fire. All eastbound lanes have returned to OPEN status and westbound is open to 1 lane.”

Previous:

ODOT Reports that I-84 is closed in both directions from mileposts 129-131 due to a brush fire roughly 9 miles west of Arlington. The Gilliam County Sheriff’s Office reports that fire resources are actively responding. Current size of the fire and estimated time of closure are unknown at this time.
