Wildfire causes closure on I-84 near Hermiston

HERMISTON – (UPDATE at 7:13 p.m.) – Both lanes of I-84 are now open near Hermiston, according to ODOT’s TripCheck.
PREVIOUS: I-84 is closed at milepost 182, about 14 miles east of the intersection with the Columbia River Highway US 30. A wildfire has closed the road. Use an alternate route. Both lanes are closed at this time. We’ll provide updates as they are released..
