Huntington residents offered assistance for food lost during evacuation & outages

HUNTINGTON – The Huntington Food Bank, in collaboration with the North East Oregon Food Bank, is extending support to residents affected by recent power outages and evacuations due to the ongoing Durkee Fire.  Those who lost perishable items can receive assistance by filling out a form online.

Residents are asked to complete the form by Monday, July 29, 2024, at 5:00 PM. The pick-up date for food items is scheduled for Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at the Huntington Food Bank located at 25 Washington St. E.

For residents unable to access the form online, they can call 541-523-0015 and leave a message. It is advised to bring a box or bags to collect the items.
