Hunter Jammerman is the newest BCSO Corrections Deputy

BAKER CITY — The Corrections Division with the Baker County Sheriff’s Office added another team member to their roster recently. Deputy Hunter Jammerman recently joined the BCSO team, and this is his first job in law enforcement, according to BCSO personnel.

Before entering law enforcement, Deputy Jammerman worked as a diesel mechanic. He is officially employed as a corrections deputy and will work in the jail.

Officials say that in the future, Deputy Jammerman will enroll in and attend the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training’s Basic Corrections Academy.

Having been raised in Idaho, the new deputy has lived in Oregon for nearly a year.
