Humbolt to provide classroom laptops for every student

CANYON CITY – Grant School District Superintendent Bret Uptmor called into the studio here recently. He mentioned he’s been working to increase technology within the classrooms:
“I’m trying to make sure we are increasing our technology. We’ve done a little bit of that with Title funds this year. At Humbolt, we’re going to end up, by the end of the year, a 1:1 Chromebook school. So, in every classroom there will be enough Chromebooks for every single student who attends, and that’s kind of an exciting piece.”
Superintendent Uptmor also mentioned that Humbolt Elementary has recently been linked into fiber internet as well.
