Humbolt Elementary welcomes Principal Janine Attlesperger

CANYON CITY, OR – Humbolt Elementary School will be getting a new principal. Grant School District #3 Superintendent Bret Uptmor issued a release announcing the news:

Janine Attlesperger has been selected as the new Humbolt principal. Ms. Attlesperger is coming to us from Terrebonne, Oregon and currently is the Title I reading specialist at the Terrebonne Community School. She has expertise in Social Emotional Learning, Response to Intervention, Positive Behavior Supports, trauma, and intervention systems. Ms. Attlesperger spends time in our county enjoying our recreational activities and looks forward to becoming an imbedded member of our community. Her first day at work will be August 2.
