Humbolt Elementary to explore more art and science opportunities

CANYON CITY – Humbolt Elementary School will explore more art and science opportunities, according to Principal Janine Attlesperger. On Tuesday, Principal Attlesperger informed KJDY’s Coffee Time listeners that based on community input, the school are able to form their goals for the year:

“They’re looking at things more in-depth. Like new opportunities for students. We’ve done some artist in residence type of things, and they’d like to see us explore some more of that, [and] some more science opportunities.

That information goes back to our leadership team and becomes part of our goals for the year.”

Principal Attlesperger said there will be more input and listening sessions held toward the first part of next year, to see how things are going.
