PASCO – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office received a report Saturday of possible human remains in a remote area north of Pasco. Deputies arrived on scene shortly thereafter and confirmed the remains were human.
With the assistance of the Washington State Patrol Crime Scene Response Team, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, and the Franklin County Coroner processed the scene and collected the remains for further examination. The identity of the deceased male will be released after their identity is confirmed and next of kin is notified.
Undersheriff Monty Huber said due to the nature of this active homicide investigation, no further information will be released at this time.
