Hoppe sentenced to 2 years in prison on multiple charges

GRANT COUNTY – A man will spend time in prison on stolen vehicle and weapons charges according to Grant County Circuit Court documents. Christopher Ryan Hoppe, 39, was convicted on one count of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, stemming back to an incident in January of this year. In a separate case, Hoppe was convicted on three counts of Felon in Possession of a Weapon, one count of Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon, as well as Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree.
Hoppe was sentenced to a total of 24 months with the Oregon Department of Corrections, followed by 24 months on Post-Prison Supervision. Five other charges against Hoppe were acquitted.
