EASTERN OREGON — Local basketball teams in the 3A, 2A, and 1A classifications are gearing up to leave a trail of hoop dreams on their quest for a state title..
Here’s a rundown of the local teams and games in the first round of the state playoff tournaments by classification:
3A BOYS:
No. 4 Vale has a bye and awaits the winner of No. 13 Burns and No. 20 Coquille on February 23.
No. 12 Umatilla visits No. 5 Harrisburg on February 23 at 7:00pm.
No. 13 Burns hosts No. 20 Coquille on February 20 at 4:00pm.
3A GIRLS:
No. 4 Vale has a bye and will play the winner of No. 13 Warrenton and No. 20 Sisters on February 24.
No. 11 Nyssa travels to Lane County to take on No. 6 Pleasant Hill on February 24 at noon.
No. 16 Burns hosts No. 17 North Valley on February 21 at 4:00pm.
2A BOYS:
No. 8 Stanfield is at home against No. 9 Kennedy on February 23 at 6:00pm.
No. 11 Grant Union heads to the Coast Range to take on No. 6 Willamina on February 24 at 2:00pm.
2A GIRLS:
No. 7 Weston-McEwen hosts No. 10 Oakridge on February 24 at 2:00pm.
No. 8 Enterprise is at home and will play No. 9 Willamina on February 24 at 4:00pm.
No. 11 Stanfield travels over to Lebanon to take on No. 6 East Linn Christian on February 24 at 6:00pm.
No. 14 Heppner travels to Salem to play No. 3 Regis on February 24 at 1:00pm.
1A BOYS:
No. 1 Crane will host No. 32 Crow on February 20 at 6:00pm.
No. 2 Nixyaawii is at home to take on No. 31 Days Creek on February 20 at 5:00pm.
No. 5 Dufur takes on No. 28 Triangle Lake at home on February 20 at 6:00pm.
No. 6 Sherman hosts No. 27 Damascus Christian on February 20 at 6:00pm.
No. 8 Union contends against No. 25 Willamette Valley Christian at home on February 20 at 7:00pm.
No. 9 Imbler is also at home and faces off against No. 24 Falls City/Kings Valley Charter on February 20 at 6:30pm.
No. 18 Cove heads to Beaverton to battle No. 15 Valor Christian on February 20 at 7:00pm.
No. 20 Spray/Mitchell/Wheeler is in Molalla to take on No. 13 Country Christian on February 20 at 6:00pm.
No. 22 Condon travels to southern Oregon to meet No. 11 North Douglas on February 20 at 6:30pm.
No. 23 Adrian travels 457 miles to take on No. 10 Perrydale on February 20 at 6:00pm.
No. 26 Echo heads to near the California border to face No. 7 Lost River on February 20 at 6:00pm.
No. 30 Prairie City heads up to Troutdale to try and upset No. 3 Open Door Christian Academy on February 20 at 7:30pm.

No. 6 Powder Valley is home in North Powder to take on No. 27 C.S. Lewis Academy on February 21 at 6:00pm.
No. 9 Imbler faces off against No. 24 Ione/Arlington at home on February 21 at 6:30pm.
