In July of 2019, Dawn and Jon Coleman and their son Jonathan made the decision as a family to purchase Mister Mattress. Jon’s passion to educate people on the importance of sleep quality and Dawn’s devotion towards giving everyone a warm welcome brings a whole new experience to the store.
Jon, who is now a disabled vet, has been in the mattress business for 6 years. He spent 4 years in the Navy and was stationed on shore duty in Naples Italy. Jon absolutely enjoys cooking and is great at taking any recipe and adding his own “flare” to it. He also loves to spend time with his family and travel to the Oregon Coast.
Dawn, the backbone to the family, has been living in the Tri-Cities area for 30 years. For the past six years she has been assisting with marketing for Columbia Basin Hearing and is there four days a week.
The other two days you will find her at Mister Mattress. Dawn enjoys traveling to the Oregon Coast, spending time with the family as well as spending time at their home and decorating anything she can get her hands on.
From running the household to work duties, Dawn is the reason things get accomplished. She also gets a lot of help from their 14 year old son Jonathan, 3 cats, two dogs, and 8 rabbits…
Jonathan is not only a straight A student he is a very funny and loving young man. He is definitely an entrepreneur and loves animals, history and anything to do with planes. On the weekends and during the summer, you can expect to see Jonathan here at Mister Mattress.
The Coleman family decided they wanted to set themselves apart from other mattress stores and be able to better serve the Tri-Cities and that’s why they offer quality mattresses at discounted pricing.
