In the early morning hours of Sunday, April 21, 2024, Harney County Sheriff’s Office responded to Whitehorse Ranch Lane in remote Harney County, Oregon after receiving reports of a shooting. When deputies arrived at the scene, evidence indicated that a murder/suicide had occurred. Deputies located 2 deceased adults, 1 injured child, and 1 uninjured child. The injured child was transported by Harney EMS to meet Life Flight, then to a hospital where they were treated and are in recovery.
