UMATILLA – Oregon State Police is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspect in a felony hit and run crash investigation. The investigation is the result of a three-vehicle crash in Umatilla Wednesday.
At around 4:39 p.m. two vehicles were stopped in a line at a red light at the intersection of U.S. 395 and U.S. 730, a Chevrolet Cruze was stopped behind a Saturn SL1. A vehicle approaching the intersection, a white Dodge Durango, rear ended the Cruze due to driver inattention which then pushed that vehicle into the SL1. The driver of the Dodge, described as a younger, white female driver, exited her vehicle and looked around, then got back into her vehicle fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed.
The driver of the SL1 sustained a possible neck injury.
