GRANT COUNTY – Flooding and erosion have been reported on several Grant County highways. As of Tuesday morning, erosion was being observed on Highway 26 near Laycock Creek.
ODOT is reporting high water in Mt. Vernon near the Beech Creek bridge, causing minimal delay to traffic.
Water was observed across the highway in multiple locations on Highway 395-C yesterday and last night.

High water alert. Rapid snowmelt is causing flooding on highways throughout eastern Oregon. Do not attempt to drive through deep water on the road. If you can’t tell how deep the water is, use alternate routes or find safe place to wait until water recedes. Areas impacted include sections of U.S. 395-B, U.S. 395-C, U.S. 26 and various other roads in Grant County. Some roads in Harney, Malheur and other eastern Oregon counties are also seeing flooding.
