Hermiston man killed in I-82 crash

UMATILLA COUNTY – A Hermiston man was killed in a single vehicle crash near on Interstate 82 Monday.

According to Oregon State Police (OSP) at 11:42 p.m. an eastbound Toyota 4Runner driven by Donald James Drouillard, 35, failed to negotiate a curve at mile marker 10 and left the roadway, rolled down an embankment and came to a rest on its roof in the median.

Drouillard was not wearing a seatbelt. He was ejected from the vehicle and declared deceased at the scene.

The highway was not impacted during the on-scene investigation.

OSP was assisted by Umatilla County Fire District #1 and Oregon Department of Transportation.
