HERMISTON – The Hermiston City Council meets at 7 p.m. today in council chambers of Hermiston City Hall. An hour earlier, the council will tour the construction work at the Hermiston Public Library before the meeting convenes.
One topic on the agenda is an item not for action, but rather one for discussion. The council has asked staff to prepare some information about the potential of setting regulations for adult businesses. That request to staff came because there are no set guidelines established by the state of Oregon.
The agenda makes it clear that this is the beginning of a discussion. There are no proposed ordinances related to the topic scheduled.
The meeting is open to the public and streamed live on Hermiston’s YouTube channel.
