HERMISTON – The Hermiston City Council will hold a work session this evening (Monday) at 6 p.m. followed with a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Council members will get an update on the Eastern Oregon Trade and Event Center at the first session.

During the regular meeting, the council will consider a resolution that increases municipal court fees as well as charges at the Hermiston Family Aquatic Center. At the pool, individual daily passes would go up a dollar. Season passes would increase by $15. There would be other increases for facility rentals and classes.

The municipal court is requesting that fees that have always been charged at the court be added to the master fee schedule. Those fees apply to all cases that are not paid in full within 30 days.

The meetings are at the Hermiston Community Center, 415 S. Highway 395. They are streamed on the city’s YouTube channel and can be accessed via Zoom. The meeting ID is 841 0675 8958 and the pass code is 075556.
