OREGON/IDAHO- (Release from Idaho Power) Drinking water faucets and the fish cleaning station at Idaho Power’s C.J. Strike campgrounds have been shut down for the winter.
Water remains available at campgrounds in Hells Canyon as temperatures have been moderate, but parks staff will winterize the facilities next week. The fish cleaning station at Woodhead Park will be shut down, and drinking water to individual campsites will be shut off to protect against damage from freezing.
Idaho Power campgrounds are open year-round, weather permitting.
